Lawyer's Exopolitics and Time Travel Claims Materialize in the Media

The following story comes from Phantoms and Monsters:

Andrew D. Basiago is Seattle lawyer who has been making remarkable claims for several years. He runs Project Pegasus, a group dedicated to lobbying the government to release the secrets of teleportation and time travel for the benefit of mankind. Basiago also refers to himself as "the discoverer of life on Mars." Basiago also claims that President Obama was a fellow Mars traveller back in the day, then living under the moniker "Barry Soetoro". Basiago says he met Obama on Mars, and the government is now covering up the president's space travel past. Anyway...below is a recent article from David Moye at The Huffington Post:

A lot of people have a hard time trusting lawyers as it is, but what about one who claims he was part of a secret government time travel program when he was a kid?

Since 2004, Seattle attorney Andrew Basiago has been publicly claiming that from the time he was 7 to when he was 12, he participated in "Project Pegasus," a secret U.S. government program that he says worked on teleportation and time travel under the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency.

"They trained children along with adults so they could test the mental and physical effects of time travel on kids," Basiago told The Huffington Post. "Also, children had an advantage over adults in terms of adapting to the strains of moving between past, present and future."

Skeptical? You're not alone. Hong Kong physicist Shengwang Du issued a paper last year saying time travel is impossible, because nothing moves faster than the speed of light, the Los Angeles Times reported.

Nevertheless, Basiago's claim gets support from Alfred Webre, a lawyer specializing in "exopolitics," or the political implications surrounding an extraterrestrial presence on Earth. Webre said teleportation and time travel have been around for 40 years, but are hoarded by the Defense Department instead of being used to transfer goods and services faraway distances.

"It's an inexpensive, environmentally friendly means of transportation," Webre told The Huffington Post. "The Defense Department has had it for 40 years and [former Defense Secretary Donald] Rumsfeld used it to transport troops to battle."

Basiago said he experienced eight different time travel technologies during his stint in the program. Mostly, he said, his travel involved a teleporter based on technical papers supposedly found in pioneering mechanical engineer Nikola Tesla's New York City apartment after his death in January 1943.

"The machine consisted of two gray elliptical booms about eight feet tall, separated by about 10 feet, between which a shimmering curtain of what Tesla called 'radiant energy' was broadcast," Basiago said. "Radiant energy is a form of energy that Tesla discovered that is latent and pervasive in the universe and has among its properties the capacity to bend time-space."

Basiago said project participants would jump through this field of radiant energy into a vortal tunnel and "when the tunnel closed, we found ourselves at our destination."

"One felt either as if one was moving at a great rate of speed or moving not at all, as the universe was wrapped around one's location," Basiago said.

Basiago claimed he can be seen in a photograph of Abraham Lincoln at Gettysburg in 1863, which he said he visited in 1972 via a plasma confinement chamber located in East Hanover, N.J.

"I had been dressed in period clothing, as a Union bugle boy," he said. "I attracted so much attention at the Lincoln speech site at Gettysburg -- wearing over-sized men's street shoes -- that I left the area around the dais and walked about 100 paces over to where I was photographed in the Josephine Cogg image of Lincoln at Gettysburg.".

In addition, Basiago said he traveled to Ford's Theatre the night of Lincoln's assassination on five or six occasions. "I did not, however, witness the assassination," he said. "Once, I was on the theater level when he was shot and I heard the shot followed by a great commotion that arose from the crowd. It was terrible to hear."

Basiago said each of his visits to the past was different, "like they were sending us to slightly different alternative realities on adjacent timelines. As these visits began to accumulate, I twice ran into myself during two different visits."

Being sent back in time to the same place and moment, but from different starting points in the present, allowed two of himselves to be in Ford's Theatre at the same time in 1865.

"After the first of these two encounters with myself occurred, I was concerned that my cover might be blown," he recalled. "Unlike the jump to Gettysburg, in which I was clutching a letter to Navy Secretary Gideon Welles to offer me aid and assistance in the event I was arrested, I didn't have any explanatory materials when I was sent to Ford's Theatre."

And how did these alleged time travelers return to the present day or their point of origin? According to Basiago, some sort of holographic technology allowed them to travel both physically and virtually.

"If we were in the hologram for 15 minutes or fewer," he explained, "the hologram would collapse, and after about 60 seconds of standing in a field of super-charged particles ... we would find ourselves back on the stage ... in the present."

Basiago said the technology should only be used for real-time teleportation, not time travel, because, "It would be chaos."

Basiago and Webre recently held a seminar in Vancouver, B.C., focusing on the need to disclose, deploy and declassify the technology, as well as the public policy decisions that would be needed to use it.

Webre, for one, said he wants teleports installed in every major city where people and products would be transported through the time-space continuum. "This would free up a lot of urban space that is currently being used by train yards or airports," Webre said.

Of course, there are risks. Basiago remembered feeling extreme turbulence while going through the vortal time tunnel. Webre said one tragedy occurred in the early days of the technology in which a child in Project Pegasus arrived a few seconds before his legs.

"He was writhing in pain with just stumps where his legs had been," Webre said.

Webre said problems like that have since been solved. Still, he said teleportation needs strict legal controls to prevent it being used for "for political control, economic control or illegal surveillance."

All of this is fascinating stuff -- if true. But experts who include retired Army Col. John Alexander, former director for the Advanced System Concepts Office, U.S. Army Laboratory Command, are, to put it mildly, skeptical.

"If this could be done, if anyone could go even one second into the future, we'd own the world," Alexander told The Huffington Post. "There are computer programs on Wall Street that are hundredths of a second faster and provide a tremendous advantage."

Basiago said that as many as 100 people worked on Project Pegasus. Alexander said he doubts that many people could keep the secret for 40 minutes, much less 40 years.

"There's a saying in Washington: If two people know something, it's not a secret," said Alexander, author of "UFOs: Myths, Conspiracies, and Realities." "If this was used by the Department of Defense, how did we miss the weapons of mass destruction in Iraq or the fall of the Shah of Iran?"

Basiago said Alexander's rhetorical questions can be explained by the paradoxes of the time-space continuum.

"I only know about how the time travel technology was used during my involvement with Project Pegasus, so this is only speculation," he said. "But it's possible that 'forward intelligence' showed [Iraq leader Saddam] Hussein using the weapons of mass destruction, but our military went in and toppled him before he could use them." - THP

Hitler Dead, World War 2 Ends on This Date April 30th 1945

Pictured: Adolf Hitler - Tyrant, Fuhrer of Germany, mass murderer of millions
of people, occultist and all around evil man giving the Nazi salute sometime during
the war he started World War 2.

Adolf Hitler killed himself today about 67 years ago today thus ending
World War 2, a war that he started. Ironic that he went the way
of so many people he killed and murdered including his own people
the Germans but mainly Jews and many other victims as well. .

“On this day in 1945, holed up in a bunker under his headquarters in Berlin, Adolf Hitler commits suicide by swallowing a cyanide capsule and shooting himself in the head. Soon after, Germany unconditionally surrendered to the Allied forces, ending Hitler’s dreams of a “1,000-year” Reich.

Since at least 1943, it was becoming increasingly clear that Germany would fold under the pressure of the Allied forces. In February of that year, the German 6th Army, lured deep into the Soviet Union, was annihilated at the Battle of Stalingrad, and German hopes for a sustained offensive on both fronts evaporated. Then, in June 1944, the Western Allied armies landed at Normandy, France, and began systematically to push the Germans back toward Berlin. By July 1944, several German military commanders acknowledged their imminent defeat and plotted to remove Hitler from power so as to negotiate a more favorable peace. Their attempts to assassinate Hitler failed, however, and in his reprisals, Hitler executed over 4,000 fellow countrymen.

In January 1945, facing a siege of Berlin by the Soviets, Hitler withdrew to his bunker to live out his final days. Located 55 feet under the chancellery, the shelter contained 18 rooms and was fully self-sufficient, with its own water and electrical supply. Though he was growing increasingly mad, Hitler continued to give orders and meet with such close subordinates as Hermann Goering, Heinrich Himmler and Josef Goebbels. He also married his long-time mistress Eva Braun just two days before his suicide.

In his last will and testament, Hitler appointed Admiral Karl Donitz as head of state and Goebbels as chancellor. He then retired to his private quarters with Braun, where he and Braun poisoned themselves and their dogs, before Hitler then also shot himself with his service pistol.

Hitler and Braun’s bodies were hastily cremated in the chancellery garden, as Soviet forces closed in on the building. When the Soviets reached the chancellery, they removed Hitler’s ashes, continually changing their location so as to prevent Hitler devotees from creating a memorial at his final resting place. Only eight days later, on May 8, 1945, the German forces issued an unconditional surrender, leaving Germany to be carved up by the four Allied powers.”

Astor, Florida: A Possible Ground Zero for the Paranormal, UFO's and Cryptids?

By David Hoes - Astor is a town of about 1500 residents that has a rich, but sometimes violent history. It is also the focal point for a remarkable variety of paranormal phenomena. The following is a list of some of the strange events in and around Astor:

- The ghost of an Indian chief and a French Huguenot Monk have been seen in the area

- A dinosaur-like river monster known as "Pinky" has been sighted by numerous witnesses

- UFOs have frequently been spotted in local skies

- Skunk Apes, a Florida version of Bigfoot, are said to inhabit the surrounding forest

- The town's lighthouse-keeper and drawbridge-tender were mysteriously murdered

- The leading citizen and largest property owner died on the Titanic

- A Transylvanian Count served as newspaper publisher and local historian

Astor History

Astor is located almost due north of Orlando and due west of Daytona Beach, on the west bank of the St. John's River. The lands around Astor were originally inhabited by Timucua Indians. There is a large shell mound just north of town where in the 1880s archeologists uncovered a number of relics and human remains.

French Huguenots escaping religious persecution settled at the present site of Astor in 1562. However, the entire colony was wiped out by Spanish troops in 1566. Later, the Spanish were driven out by the British.

The next European to settle in the area was James Spalding, who established a trading post at the present site of Astor in 1763. By that time, there were only about two dozen Timucua still alive. The rest had been killed by disease or war.

In 1822, a Jewish immigrant, Moses Elias Levy, raised oranges and sugar cane at the future site of Astor. During the Seminole wars, several forts were built in the vicinity. While some battles took place, more US troops died from disease than from combat. By 1870, the area was largely deserted.

However, in 1874, William B. Astor, Sr., purchased 12,000 acres of land along the St. John's river and established the town of Manhattan. When Astor died twenty years later, the town was officially renamed Astor in his honor. His son, John Jacob Astor IV inherited his father's estate and continued to promote the town. John Jacob Astor IV is remembered for his heroism during the sinking of the Titanic in 1912, when he gave-up up his place in a lifeboat to another passenger.

A more recent but somewhat less famous resident of Astor was Count Albert Wass de Szentegyed et Czege, (known as A. Wass de Czege) a Transylvanian nobleman and author, who came to Astor following World War II. He was the publisher of the local newspaper and a local historian.

BFRO Report 33859: Woman recalls daylight sighting north of Marseilles

Haunting Case, Investigation and Advice on The Paranormal

My friend and mentor, well educated intellectual and former U.S. Army Chaplain Maj. Joe F. posted this case he investigated and gave me this info about believing in the paranormal:

I've noticed in this world, the people, and there's 2 kinds, who don't like the paranormal or anything remotely pertaining to it. The first, are those who are deathly scared of it. They are unsure of something they have no clue about, so they lash out in this method. And second, the individuals who don't want to accept what's in the afterlife. These types of people refuse to believe or accept that their life, like all others, will end in time.

I couldn't imagine not enjoying the paranormal. I think I would rather drop off the face of the earth. LOL.

One of my first long-term investigations came when I was 21 years of age. I had just gotten into full-time paranormal investigation and was freelance by all standards. I investigated a store/residence in the shopping village of Skippack, Pennsylvania. The owner of the shop who was also the landlord of the property had been there for nearly 20 years, and she was claiming that in her photographs there were unusual balls of light, blasts of white light that showed no clear indentity near friends, cold spots, dark shadows in areas where no light was able to penetrate, hearing noises, water running when no one was around, knocks and loud bangs throughout the evening and early morning hours.

(A little background on the landlord: A female approximately in her early 60s, roughly 5'.9" tall, around 150lbs., was born & raised outside of Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, purchased the land from the Skippack Land Commission in the early to mid 1980s. Work background, she owned and ran the shop in which she started a few years after purchasing the property. She had a live-in girlfriend and fellow shop employee who was responsible for bookkeeping. She also had a boyfriend who was the Skippack Constable and was a professional truck driver who owned his own tri-axle dump truck). (The owner's girlfriend was in her late 50s, about 5'.5" tall, weighed approximately 200lbs. The owner's boyfriend was roughly 55 years old, was about 5'.9-10" tall, about 180lbs. and worked the grounds as a caretaker on his off time). Only the two female shop employees believed something unusual was going on, as the male counterpart did not believe in the paranormal.

The history of the property dates back to the late 1700s and one of the original owners was found dead in the attic from hanging. The original home itself was structured much like a traditional colonial saltbox-styled home, and was quite prestigious in its day, with three-stories to boast, and a former greenhouse. The mid-sized barn on the back lot was meant for housing horses and carriage. Over ten owners had come and gone since its building in the late 18th century.

The owner claimed in the late 1990s that she would hear voices and bangs in the late night hours, loud thumps in the early morning hours, lights would turn on and off by themselves, she would hear water running when no faucet had been turned on. He girlfriend claimed to have seen unusual dark-like phantoms outside on the raised porch. In nearly every photograph taken of a little girl that the landlord looked after for extra money, there was a bright light or blast if you will that was always near this young girl who (was blind and deaf, and didn't have a mother, but lived close by with friends).

In my initial investigation, I evaluated the occupants, examined the owner for ESP tendancies, and conducted an investigation by myself that lasted for approximately two to three days. Upon the conclusion, I was unable to determine anything remotely related to a paranormal occurrence. I deemed the case "Inconclusive".

I returned to investigate in the spring of that year, with the assistance of my older brother who was also a paranormal investigator, and had some more extensive equipment. this time I crawled under, over, through and around every possible nook and cranny there was. I was down and up several times. I had a thermal camera, stroboscope, three still cameras, and two EMF meters, along with one EVP digital recorder. On the first day, as I tried to interview the land owner for a second time, she refused to give me an interview and left the home. Unfortunately, due to inconclusive background governing a background search or formal interview with recording, I could not deem the residence as 'haunted' or not. There were questions that would go unanswered and that was simply not going to cut the case as being authentic or not.

I returned by the weekend and classified the case as "Inconclusive to a Classic Haunting". Primarily, I did uncover some foul water drainage, geological faults throughout the village and centered around the landlord's property, and found a horrible cat infestation.

* Case Report Date: January 2000 and April 2000
* Findings: Inconclusive to present the documentation to classify as an interactive haunting.
* Location: Skippack, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, USA

Holy Moby Dick! White Killer Whale Spotted!

From:

Yahoo News and LiveScience:

A mature all-white male orca, the only one of its kind known, has been spotted in the North Pacific off the east coast of Russia, scientists announced Monday (April 23). After seeing its towering white dorsal fin breaking through the water's surface, the team named the distinctive beast "Iceberg."

Researchers first spotted the mature killer whale with his pod of 13 relatives in August 2010 in waters around the Commander Islands; he was seen twice that month, and photographed. When the researchers, part of the Far  East Russia Orca Project, returned during the summer of 2011, they couldn't find him.

His pod is one of 61 identified social orca units, according to data collected by the Far East Russia Orca Project (FEROP) during their 12 years studying the killer whales

My Message to Stu, ZZ and Other Members of Cryptozoology.com

To Stu (Patterson), ZZ (or Stuzz for short) and all of Cryptozoology.com's
Forum Members including RMM and hroth whom I have kept in contact
with via email.

From a previous post on here: http://www.cryptozoology.com/

One of my longtime opponents, from Cryptozoology.com,
Stu Patterson has posted the following about me:

Subject: Maybe I'll start up a Legal Defence Fund myself

From: Stu

Rob's Mysterious World of the Paranormal, Cryptozoology, Odd news!:
Cryptozoology.com's Top Two Forum Trolls - ZZ and Stu

Yep, our old pal Robert Kiehn is at it again, as recently as
April 2nd no less (shame it wasn't a day earlier, the post was tailor-made).

Some choice quotes from Frothy's rant:

ZZ The Mod

Her solution to someone she dislikes on the forums is simply banning
them rather then defeating them in debate.

Stu The Sociopath

Not a gentleman nor a troll, Stu is a mix of someone who hates
others as well as himself.

Also, note his use of an image of a young man with Down's Syndrome
to try to portray us as 'stupid'. And the IDiot claims he was unfairly banned.....

Now, if JJ can get away with launching an action against
people for calling him a crazy gun-carrier...........

I don't have a PayPal account, but if you want to just send cheques
or do international bank transfers, details shall be provided on request.

Note that it's Defense. Well Stu's English anyway so nevermind....

Stu knows how to make drama and is good at making baseless claims,
dehumanizing opponents and generally has little regard for others or empathy.
Stu also makes empty threats and is one of the sites major bully's. Stu
goes on rants himself. Again these people have used the words "retarded"
and "mentally disabled" as well as accusations of people who profess faith
to have mental illness or be psychotic such as YEC's for example.

ZZ (another forum member) followed me on youtube,
making false accusations against me, and making threats
to sue me on numerous occasions.

The forums on said site are full of at least a dozen trolls
who use psychology such as ZZ and Stu to win friends,
influence people and generally insult and again dehumanize anyone
who disagrees with their own worldviews.

I am a former member of Cryptozoology.com that was banned
simply for expressing my worldviews that some other did not like
and disagreed with.

I've apologized via facebook to Gerry Bacon for some of my
intolerant comments in the past on the forums (even though my friends
from Europe, The UK, Canada, etc did not deem them offensive when
I asked them what they thought of my comments some of them via facebook)
pertaining to the E vs C forums.

I was, again, a former member on CZ.com (under the name TheForthcoming02)
and enjoyed debating on the forum's for while, particularly the Evolution vs
Creationism forum until things started to get out of hand and turned very
hostile for simply expressing my worldviews on certain subjects such as
evolution, religion, etc (which I have changed now that I'm more liberal)

The forums are always interesting to read but, again, full of trolls and bully's
that have taken over the site, namely Stu and ZZ among them.

Gerry Bacon, The Moderator and Cisco, The Owner of the site do
not get involved that much except when a friend is insulted or when
they are offended themselves.

I am also a former YEC (Young Earth Creationist) which is one reason why
I was attacked on the forums so much. I do admit I was uneducated in
some important scientific issues which greatly angered some people
on the forums.

Since then, I've read several books from National Geographic, watched
numerous PBS and NOVA programs and have taken college course on
Zoology and Biology. I've also read Evolution for Dummies and some books
by Ernst Meyer and others on Evolutionary Biology and other science related
subjects.

My views are now:

-The Earth is at least 4 billion years old or more

-Evolution is a fact

-Evolution is also compatible with ID

-I understand Science better

-Gay Rights advocate on facebook
and Civil Rights advocate as well
which my close to 1,000 friends
can attest too on facebook.

See my profile on goodreads.com by searching Robert Kiehn which
is me btw for a list of books that I've read, am currently reading and will read.

I was not in the right mindset back then and was
dealing with health issues pertaining to Type 1 Diabetes
and Asperger's Syndrome as well as Depression.

However, it is still no excuse to call me or others names, hurl insults,
vulgarities towards me and others. Everybody has a right to
believe what they wish regarding religion, faith, etc.

The attacks on not just me but Hootowl, redwood777
and yes even hroth at times as well as some other forum
members are full of logical fallacy's, hypocrisy, one sidedness
and even threats.

I did send an email to Cisco, the owner of the site,
from a few days ago with a suggestion that a
Research Dept. be established on the site
(and also a heartfelt apology for some of my past
comments that offended a few people on the site)
so the site could help contribute more to
subjects pertaining to Cryptozoology and
the field itself more though since the site is
run by skeptics and trolls it may fall on deaf ears.

I also think my intellectual friend U.S. Army Chaplain Major Pastor Joe F.
(Ret.) said it best which I will post again:

"As far as those idiots on (the internet go), remember this one key factor; "These individuals themselves are angered because they're lost. They are lost in their own lives, their own dreams, their friends and family life may not be going the way they had hoped. Most of the time, they blame the world for their own faults, their own losses, etc. Don't let them bring you down too."

Just remember this whenever you see a post you don't like or don't agree with, everybody has a right to post what they desire, (whether it be atheists, satanists, Catholics, neo-nazis, etc.). It's what men and women who served in the United States Armed Forces have fought for, for decades so that any and everybody has a voice.

As long as you respect everybody's interpretation of what allows them to sleep at night, (wther it's right or wrong), then you'll be okay. There's hundreds of people out there that don't agree with what I state, but it doesn't bother me.

Remember, something you preach often, being Christian, about accepting the way of God. The real meaning of what God wants from you and all is ACCEPTANCE. Who really cares what the other person believes in as long as you know what you understand and believe in your own heart, mind and soul." -Joe

Well said Joe.

Let's see if Stu posts this on the site. I think not.

p.s. The E vs C forum reminds me of 1930's/1940's Nazi Germany for many reasons.
My two favorite forum members from CZ.com. Can you guess who they are?
Just see for yourself by going over there to the forums ;)

Cryptozoology Part Deux

It has come to the attention of the Cryptozoology Community that a user on the website Cryptozoology.com
by the name of "Wildphotographer" or his real name John Johnsen is taking the legal action against the popular website Cryptomundo.

Craig Woolheater states from his blog post on Cryptomundo that:

"Cryptomundo and Loren Coleman have been sued for defamation by a member of the site, John Johnsen (click here to see a copy of the Complaint). Both Cryptomundo and Loren believe the case is baseless. Mr. Johnsen has demanded that he be given ownership of the website to settle the case. This is simply not acceptable.

We don’t think that seeing Cryptomundo disappear is something that Cryptomundians want to see happen"

I can't post anymore then that, but see here for more of what's going on and please read the comments
as well:

http://www.cryptomundo.com/bigfoot-report/cryptomundo-legal-defense-fund/

Cryptomundo is asking for donations. I may help out and I urge others who go there to
help out as well with their legal defense fund.

On a side note here is a post from Cryptozoology.com from the plaintiff's side:

http://www.cryptozoology.com/forum/topic_view_thread.php?tid=1&pid=866984

Subject:
Re: Cz.com stalwart launches legal takeover bid for Cryptomundo!
From:
Wildphotographer

"In all fairness, this has been coming for a long, long time, and the complaint only scratches the surface. I am not happy that I had to resort to this, nor am I happy with the speculation by some here and elsewhere that it is childish and trivial. I expect comments like that from those who judge without knowing the full story. I have posted this as my one and only response and will ask Cisco or Gerry (if he is still out there) to remove this post and block any other reference to it. If you support my efforts thank you. If you do not, go to CM and donate but without the entire history, which I refuse to relate, you cannot judge my actions."

I support Cryptomundo fully on this issue regarding the lawsuit in question which, imo, has no merit
though I only know basic law and am not an expert in law or lawyer.

Cryptozoology.com is a good site (I know many people on it including Gerry Bacon the moderator
and Cisco the owner) but the site suffers from too many trolls on the forums and people with big ego's
and little regard for others feelings.

I think Lon said it best from Phantoms and Monsters regarding this issue:

"NOTE: I'm not taking sides in this matter but I will say that it doesn't surprise me why people suddenly quit the Bigfoot community. The bickering and back-biting is tiresome and, frankly, makes everyone involved in the research look like idiots to non-believers and others. Simply, it's drama we don't need...Lon"

Hope Loren Coleman, Craig Woolheater and all of the Cryptomundo bloggers and even posters win
this one! -Rob

Update!

Dennis Jones, friend, well educated intellectual and ID advocate as well as paralegal
has issued this advice pertaining to legal matters via facebook:

  • "Defamation is a real cause of action. If the allegations are proven in a court of law to be true, a jury could decide in favor of the plaintiff Johnson. Seeking ownership of the website is ridiculous and never would be awarded. Basically, what the plaintiff has to do is prove how the defamation harmed them financially, and express their loss in terms of monetary damages. If the jury decided in favor of Johnson, then Cryptomundo would be liable to pay whatever the financial damage the court finds was incurred."

Search on Google for Dennis page on ID by searching: Dennis Jones ID.

Thanks Dennis for your input into this matter and for looking at the link
I sent you to Cryptomundo's Legal Issue.

The Most Horrific EVP Ever Recorded? Maybe.

Central New York Ghost Hunters capture a terrifying scene from the past

By , About.com Guide

IN JANUARY, 2007, the Central New York Ghost Hunters (CNYGH), based in Syracuse, New York, were invited to investigate an old hotel in upstate New York. (The owners of the hotel have asked to keep its location confidential.) The investigation proved to be one of the most intensely active the group has ever encountered, and produced an EVP – an electronic voice phenomena recording – that is remarkable not only for its length, but also for its terrifying content.

It may well be the most intense, frightening EVP ever recorded.

THE INVESTIGATION

On that weekend in January, CNYGH founder Stacey Jones and several members of the group went to the hotel on an overnight stay for what they thought would be a routine investigation. They had no idea what they were in for.

Originally built in the late 1800s, the building was in its colorful history the site of some nefarious activity, a fact that might be key to what is heard in the EVP.

On Friday night, Stacey and her group set up their equipment – audio recorders, video recorders and other electronics – and settled in, hoping to document some evidence for the haunting the owners had claimed.

Most investigations are relatively quiet, but this night was filled with paranormal activity, including muffled voices of unknown origin, footsteps from unseen bodies and more. Members of the group I spoke with confirmed that it was the most active haunting they had personally experienced.

The real shocker came the next day. On Saturday afternoon at about 3 p.m., two female CNYGH investigators and a member of the owner's family (also a female) sat on the staircase of the hotel with a digital voice recorder, intending to capture some EVP. They chose the stairway because they had heard soft conversations and footsteps on the floor above, although no one was up there.

When they later played the recording back, however, what they heard were not soft voices and footsteps, but something totally unexpected and completely terrifying.

THE EVP: WHAT YOU'LL HEAR
Stacey Jones describes what you'll hear on the recording:
"You can [faintly] hear the three females talking throughout the recording. You will hear a female – the family member – say, 'Hello, baby,' and another long conversation. Those are all human voices. But what sounds like a struggle or attack is going on as well.

"The male [voice] you hear was not present at the hotel. You will hear a cuckoo clock (which was not present) a ticking of a hall clock (which was there); you will hear what sounds like the microphone being moved (which was not touched) and then the sound becomes clearer.

"You will hear a creaking door and slamming of the door, which is real. Then you will hear a [unknown] woman say, 'Get off me,' and what sounds like the woman being attacked. The struggle continues for awhile, and during the EVP you can hear some of my investigators' conversations. After interviewing my investigators, they said they went and sat on the stairs of this hotel, because they heard from an above floor, what sounded like footsteps and conversations, not what you hear on this recording. When the noises stop, you hear the investigators participate in a lulled conversation. They stated that they started to talk when the noises stopped. In their conversation, you will hear a male voice say, 'Help me' several times."

New Loch Ness Monster Sighting?

Sonar picture shows 'serpent-like creature' at bottom of mysterious Loch Ness

It is one of the greatest mysteries of the deep, and its legend has outfoxed score of investigators over the generations.

Stories, pictures and rumors about a monster living below the surface of Scotland's deepest loch go back for decades.

But it is now hoped this grainy image of a long ‘serpent-like creature’ may finally unlock the mystery of the Loch Ness Monster.

The sonar picture, that shows a large unidentified living object deep underwater, was recorded by Loch Ness boat skipper Marcus Atkinson.

The mysterious being was recorded at a depth of 75ft in the murky water and measured nearly 5ft wide.

Mr Atkinson’s sonar fish-finder device records the width of objects in the depths directly below his tourist boat every quarter of a second.

Image produced when his vessel was in the Loch's Urquhart Bay showed a long moving object that had followed the boat for more than two minutes.

The consistent marks on Mr Atkinson's sonar create a horizontal mass, which is not an indicator of length.

But excited Loch Ness monster experts have ruled out the ‘sighting’ being any other fish, seal or wood debris and believe it is proof of an unknown creature in the Loch.

The picture taken on Mr Atkinson's mobile phone of his sonar screen, has won him first prize in the Best Nessie Sighting of The Year Award run by bookmakers William Hill.

Mr Atkinson, 43, from Fort Augustus in the Scottish Highlands, said: 'I was dropping customers at Urquhart Castle and then got my boat out of the way of the other tour companies.

'I moved out into the water and looked at the sonar and saw this image had appeared.

'The device takes a reading of the depth and what is below the boat every quarter of a second and gradually builds up a picture, so it covered a time of about five minutes.

'The object got bigger and bigger and I thought "bloody hell" and took a picture with my mobile phone.

'There is nothing that big in the Loch. I was in shock as it looked like a big serpent, it’s amazing. You can’t fake a sonar image. I have never seen anything returned like this on the fish finder.

'It is a bizarre shape to me. I have shown it to other experienced skippers and none of us know what it was.

Steve Feltham, 49, a full-time Loch Ness monster hunter said: 'There are no animals in the loch as big as the image here, the biggest thing we see are seals which are nothing compared to this.

'It’s also totally unexplained and can’t possibly be fish because in water 75ft down you just wouldn’t find them.

'It’s very exciting and the best evidence we have had in donkey’s years. There is usually a mundane explanation yet no one has come up with one for this.

'It’s images like this that will keep me going with my hunt for the next 20 years.'

But other marine experts claim the mystery object may well have been algae in the water.

Dr Simon Boxall, from the National Oceanography Centre in Southampton, said: 'The picture is built up slowly as the boat moves.

'So it’s not a snap shot and thus the image is not an image of a single object unless it is very still.

'The image shows a bloom of algae and zooplankton that would exist on what would be a thermocline.

'Zooplankton live off this algae and reflect sound signals from echo sounders and fish finders very well.

'They will appear as a linear “blob” on the screen, just like this.

'This is a monster made of millions of tiny animals and plants and represents the bulk of life in the Loch.' - dailymail

Scary Ghost Stories

Scary Ghost Stories from americanfolklore.net:

Axe Murder Hollow

Susan and Ned were driving through a wooded empty section of highway. Lightning flashed, thunder roared, the sky went dark in the torrential downpour. "We'd better stop," said Susan. Ned nodded his head in agreement. When he stepped on the brake, the car started to slide on the slick pavement. They went off the road and slid to a halt at the bottom of an incline.

Black Aggie

When Felix Agnus put up the life-sized shrouded bronze statue of a grieving angel, seated on a pedestal, in the Agnus family plot in the Druid Ridge Cemetery, he had no idea what he had started. The statue was a rather eerie figure by day, frozen in a moment of grief and terrible pain. At night, the figure was almost unbelievably creepy; the shroud over its head obscuring the face until you were up close to it. There was a living air about the grieving angel, as if its arms could really reach out and grab you if you weren't careful.

Black Magic

Mad Henry was a hermit who lived alone in a decrepit mansion at the edge of town. Rumors were rife about the wild-eyed man. Some folks said that he was a magician who called upon the powers of darkness to wreck havoc upon his neighbors. Others called him a mad doctor who could restore life to foul corpses from the local cemetery. No respectable citizen in town had anything to do with Mad Henry

Bloody Bones

Way back in the deep woods there lived a scrawny old woman who had a reputation for being the best conjuring woman in the Ozarks. With her bedraggled black-and-gray hair, funny eyes - one yellow and one green - and her crooked nose, Old Betty was not a pretty picture, but she was the best there was at fixing what ailed a man, and that was all that counted.

Bloody Mary (video)

She lived deep in the forest in a tiny cottage and sold herbal remedies for a living. Folks living in the town nearby called her Bloody Mary, and said she was a witch. None dared cross the old crone for fear that their cows would go dry, their food-stores rot away before winter, their children take sick of fever, or any number of terrible things that an angry witch could do to her neighbors.

Bloody Mary Returns

My stepmother was vile. I guess most kids think that when their father remarries. But in this case, it was true. She only married Father because he was rich, and she hated children. There were three of us me (Marie), my middle brother Richard and my youngest brother Charles. We were the price my stepmother Gerta paid for being rich. And we were all that stood between her and inheriting Fathers money when he died. So she took steps against us.

The Brick Wall

Massey was a soldier unfortunate enough to cross me, his commanding officer. He did not live to regret it. There was something very satisfying in the moment when I thrust the tip of my sword into the soldier̢۪s heart during our duel. I watched him fall to the ground with the satisfaction of a job well done.

Brothers' Revenge

The blizzard was raging fiercely around them as the brothers stumbled down the long road. they were miles from any farm, and knew they had to seek shelter or freeze to death. So it was with gratitude that the two brothers spotted a saloon and pushed their way through the door.

Burnt Church

She was sophisticated, poised, and cultured. In retrospect, this should have made them suspicious. A teacher like her should be presiding over a girl's school in London or New York, not seeking a position in a small town in Georgia. But at the time, they were too delighted by her application to ask any questions.

Dancing with the Devil

The girl hurried through her schoolwork as fast as she could. It was the night of the high school dance, along about 70 years ago in the town of Kingsville, Texas. The girl was so excited about the dance. She had bought a brand new, sparkly red dress for the dance. She knew she looked smashing in it. It was going to be the best evening of her life. Then her mother came in the house, looking pale and determined.

Death Waltz

Within an hour of my arrival at Fort Union, my new post, my best friend Johnny came to the barracks with a broad grin and a friendly clout on the shoulder. He'd hurried over as soon as he heard I had come, and we talked 'til sunset and beyond.

Devil on Washington Rock

The dream was so vivid, she didn't realize at first that it was a dream. The party was crowded, the guests cheerful, the food delicious. Then a rumor began to circulate among the guests. The Devil was coming to the party. The Devil was on the way.

Dispatched

There was something odd in the tone of the dispatcher's voice when he called to tell me a person needed picking up at Bramlett Road late one summer night in 1947. I shuddered when I heard the name of the street. I did not want to go anywhere near that area, especially at midnight. But I drove a Yellow Cab, and it was my job to pick up a call when it came. So I swallowed and headed toward Bramlett Road and the slaughter yards.

Don't Turn on the Light

She commandeered the room in the basement of her dorm as soon as she realized she would have to pull an all-nighter in order to prepare for tomorrow's final exam. Her roommate, Jenna, liked to get to bed early, so she packed up everything she thought she would need and went downstairs to study . . . and study . . . and study some more.

Goblin of Easton

There was once a monk at the mission who loved money and power more than he loved God. He would hear the confession of the good folk who attended the mission, and then would blackmail them into giving him gold and silver to keep their darkest secrets.

Golden Hand

He never paid much attention to the neighbors living on his city block until the day the pretty middle-aged widow moved in two doors down from him. She was plump and dark with sparkling eyes, and she always wore dark gloves on her hands, even indoors.

The Ghost in the Alley

Rumors were rife about the alleyway behind the tavern. It was haunted, folks said. Haunted by the ghost of a young girl who had been found murdered in that self-same passage. People avoided the small street after dark, for the spirit was said to be a vengeful one.

Hairy Toe

Once there was an old woman who went out in the woods to dig up some roots to cook for dinner. She spotted something funny sticking out of the leaves and dug around until she uncovered a great big hairy toe. There was some good meat on that toe which would make a real tasty dinner, so the old woman put it in her basket and took it home.

The Handshake

Polly was the sweetest, prettiest girl in Goldsboro, yes sir. All the local boys were chasing her, and quite a number of the fellows from the surrounding countryside were too. All the girls were jealous of Polly cause they didnt have no sweethearts to take them to the local dances. They all wanted Polly to choose her man so things could go back to normal. But Polly was picky. None of the local boys suited her, and neither did the fellows from the back country.

The Hook

Excerpted from Spooky Campfire Talesretold by S.E. SchlosserThe reports had been on the radio all day, though she hadn't paid much attention to them. Some crazy man had escaped from the state asylum. They were calling him the Hook Man...

Jack O'Lantern (video)

After a long day of unlucky hunting, I found myself stuck in the middle of the marshlands for the night, without a flashlight or a lantern to guide my stumbling steps. So I settled beside a fallen log to rest until daylight. As I tossed and turned, I recalled the story my great-uncle told me about a ghost that haunted the marshlands.

La Mala Hora

My friend Isabela called me one evening before dinner. She was sobbing as she told me that she and her husband Enrique were getting divorced. He had moved out of the house earlier that day and Isabela was distraught...

No Trespassing

Peggy and her boyfriend Tommy were driving down a lonely stretch of highway at dusk when a thunderstorm came crashing down on them. Tommy slowed the car and they crept their way past a formidable abandoned house. Plastered all over the fences and trees were NO TRESPASSING signs.

Playing Piano

Dah-dah-dum-dum-BLAT! Charlie winced when his wife hit the wrong note on the piano for the thirty-second time that day. He knew it was the thirty-second time because he’d kept count as he went about his daily chores, cleaning the lighthouse, checking the supplies, mending the rowboat. Charlie blamed himself for his wife's latest obsession. He should never have taken Myrtle to attend the concert when that high-flutin’ concert pianist came to town...

Raw Head and Bloody Bones

Way back in the deep woods there lived a scrawny old woman who had a reputation for being the best conjuring woman in the Ozarks. With her bedraggled black-and-gray hair, funny eyes - one yellow and one green - and her crooked nose, Old Betty was not a pretty picture, but she was the best there was at fixing what ailed a man, and that was all that counted.

Screaming Jenny

The old storage sheds along the tracks were abandoned shortly after the Baltimore & Ohio Railroad was built, and it wasn't long before the poor folk of the area moved in. The sheds provided shelter - of a sort - although the winter wind still pierced through every crevice, and the small fireplaces that the poor constructed did little to keep the cold at bay.

Sifty-Sifty San (video)

There was once a beautiful old house right on the edge of a lake, surrounded by woods. But no one would live there because a spirit calling itself Sifty-Sifty-San drove everyone away. In desperation, the owner of the house went to the big city, looking for a man or woman who would be able to banish the spirit of Sifty-Sifty-San. The first night in town, he came across a man named Sam who had spent much of his life banishing ghosts.

Storm Hag

She lurks below the surface of the lake near Presque Isle, her lithe form forever swimming through the weeds and the mire. Pale and green of skin, her yellow eyes shine luminously in the dark, and her thin long arms wrap themselves around the unwary, while foul-green pointed teeth sink into soft flesh and sharp nails at the end of long bony fingers stroke you into the deepest sleep there is. She is called by many names, but to sailors of Lake Erie, she is known as the Storm Hag.

Vampire Hermit

A young warrior and his family move into a vacant house, not realizing it is the home of an evil vampire. When the warrior is killed, his wife and baby flee before they become the next victims. But the vampire follows them through the darkening woods, preparing to strike. Can mother and child survive the horror the warrior has unwittingly unleashed against them? From Spooky New York.

Vengeance

When the samurai warrior Kane first came to California from Tokyo, be brought his new wife, the beautiful Ishi. She was an ideal wife: gentle, attentive, and a wonderful cook. Kane was the envy of his new neighbors. But he was a proud man. When a wealthy family moved into the neighborhood, Kane cast his eye upon their lovely daughter, Aiko, and desired her...

Where's My Liver

"Go straight to the store and don't fool around," his mother said sternly as she handed over the money. "Your father's boss is coming to dinner tonight and we're having his favorite meal of liver and onions. It's important that we make a good impression, so get the best liver they've got."

White Lady

In the early 1800s, the White Lady and her daughter were supposed to have lived on the land where the Durand Eastman Park -- part of Irondequoit and Rochester -- now stands. One day, the daughter disappeared. Convinced that the girl had been raped and murdered by a local farmer, the mother searched the marshy lands day after day, trying to discover where her child's body was buried...

White Wolf

She snapped awake out of a deep sleep, screaming aloud in terror. In her nightmare, a large white wolf had been chasing her around and around the house, gaining on her with every step until it finally pounced on her and ripped out her throat. She lay shaking for hours, unable to sleep after such a terrifying dream.

Wraith of the Creek (video)

When he left his tribe to work with the white lumbermen, he changed his name to William Cloud, and the lumberjacks started calling him “Cloudy.” They liked to hear Cloudy tell the story of the wraith that lived in the creek that powered the local log chute. The wraith was an evil creature that desired nothing more than to wrap its long arms around humans or animals and pull them down into the water to drown.

The Titanic and the Paranormal, Urban Legends

Titanic and the Paranormal

It’s a sad and historic anniversary, yesterday was the the 15th of April, the 100th anniversary of sinking of the Titanic. Amid the 3d showings of the movie and the wild commercialism that seems endless, I wondered what else might be lurking in the Titanic story within my own field of interest. The Paranormal.

As it turns out, there’s quite alot.

Firstly are the prophetic circumstances surrounding the wreck itself. In 1898 an author named Morgan Robertson published a short story entitled ‘Futility’ that bore striking resemblances to the Titanic disaster of 1912. Everything from striking an iceberg on it’s maiden voyage, it’s home port of Southampton, claimed unsinkability due to watertight compartments and a lack of sufficient lifeboats were all eerily similar. Perhaps the most creepy aspect is that Morgan’s ship was named The Titan.

Another paranormal tidbit in Titanic lore are the artifacts. Owned more or less by a single company, and the whole lot coming up for auction soon, there are numerous accounts of the exhibit being haunted. Stories abound from people touring the exhibit seeing things, a famous television investigation team capturing EVP’s, and employees emphatically claiming paranormal activity. Claims range from an employee feeling hands in her hair, shadowy figures walking the corridors, and even an elderly woman haunting a replica of a cabin.

One famous story about Titanic is unfortunately not true. A legend has developed about a mummy shipped aboard the vessel, suggesting, as usual, that a mummy curse sank the Titanic. In fact, there was no mummy on the ship, and the mummified Egyptian in question never existed (except in Ancient times). The whole thing traces to the only extant artifact, a coffin lid in the British Museum, that’s still there to this day. The mummy story must be chalked up to a typical gilded age tall tale, a textbook one, as Tutankamun’s curse must also be. The simple fact is, the man that opened the tomb, Howard Carter… lived for years after his discovery. The curse story persisted, and the model seems to have been recycled into the Titanic saga.

Perhaps the most interesting paranormal phenomena associated with the Titanic is the Captain of the ship, Edward Smith, haunting his birthplace. Located in Stoke-on-Trent in Staffordshire England, the victorian era home has been claimed to be flagrantly haunted by Smith. He is reportedly seen in the bedroom of the home in anthropomorphic form, and cold chills (fitting, perhaps) are reported in other areas of the house. Disconcertingly, residents reported a mysterious kitchen flood that they suspect had something to do with the ghost. The house is on the market for what seems to be an unusually low price, should any Titanic aficionado wish to buy it and investigate further.

It should be no surprise that such a traumatic and emotional event as the Titanic disaster would create ghosts, or at least stories about them. 1500 people died that night under truly horrific circumstances, and if the paranormalists are to be believed these emotions imprinted on the artifacts and surely the ship itself. I could find no reliable reports of anything being seen on the wreck itself, but this is not surprising. Low light, explorers confined to submarines, murky water and the fact that most of the victims would have perished floating on the freezing surface of the ocean instead of miles down on the wreck would tend to explain that. But one must wonder if someday, some expedition might catch something unusual on it’s cameras. - Thanks to Terry G. at Paranormala.com

Hope Everyone has a Good Friday and Easter this year!

I hope everyone has a Good Friday and Easter this year regardless if you celebrate
it or not!

I was in the hospital with a bad knee infection due to an insulin shot in my thigh area
to close to my knee for almost 3 days. I am doing better now. I have what's called a
PICC line in my arm that goes to where my heart is and through this I have been getting
antibiotics via infusion or IV therapy at the hospital I go to (Christ Hospital in Oaklawn, IL)
for about 10 days now come Monday. The infection is almost gone and I'm feeling better
finally! Which is why I've not posted much on this site in a while. -Rob

The Sinking of the Titanic, 1912-2012 100th Anniversary

Today's date is actually the 100th anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic and here is an interesting article
on the Titanic to commemorate it on the 100th anniversary of it's sinking:

O
n April 10, 1912, the Titanic, largest ship afloat, left Southampton, England on her maiden voyage to New York City. The White Star Line had spared no expense in assuring her luxury. A legend even before she sailed, her passengers were a mixture of the world's wealthiest basking in the elegance of first class accommodations and immigrants packed into steerage.

The Washington Post announces the disaster
She was touted as the safest ship ever built, so safe that she carried only 20 lifeboats - enough to provide accommodation for only half her 2,200 passengers and crew. This discrepancy rested on the belief that since the ship's construction made her "unsinkable," her lifeboats were necessary only to rescue survivors of other sinking ships. Additionally, lifeboats took up valuable deck space.
Four days into her journey, at 11:40 P.M. on the night of April 14, she struck an iceberg. Her fireman compared the sound of the impact to "the tearing of calico, nothing more." However, the collision was fatal and the icy water soon poured through the ship.

It became obvious that many would not find safety in a lifeboat. Each passenger was issued a life jacket but life expectancy would be short when exposed to water four degrees below freezing. As the forward portion of the ship sank deeper, passengers scrambled to the stern. John Thayer witnessed the sinking from a lifeboat. "We could see groups of the almost fifteen hundred people still aboard, clinging in clusters or bunches, like swarming bees; only to fall in masses, pairs or singly, as the great after part of the ship, two hundred and fifty feet of it, rose into the sky, till it reached a sixty-five or seventy degree angle." The great ship slowly slid beneath the waters two hours and forty minutes after the collision
The next morning, the liner Carpathia rescued 705 survivors. One thousand five hundred twenty-two passengers and crew were lost. Subsequent inquiries attributed the high loss of life to an insufficient number of lifeboats and inadequate training in their use.

End of a Splendid Journey

Elizabeth Shutes, aged 40, was governess to nineteen-year-old Margaret Graham who was traveling with her parents. As Shutes and her charge sit in their First Class cabin they feel a shudder travel through the ship. At first comforted by her belief in the safety of the ship, Elizabeth's composure is soon shattered by the realization of the imminent tragedy:

"Suddenly a queer quivering ran under me, apparently the whole length of the ship. Startled by the very strangeness of the shivering motion, I sprang to the floor. With too perfect a trust in that mighty vessel I again lay down. Some one knocked at my door, and the voice of a friend said: 'Come quickly to my cabin; an iceberg has just passed our window; I know we have just struck one.'

No confusion, no noise of any kind, one could believe no danger imminent. Our stewardess came and said she could learn nothing. Looking out into the companionway I saw heads appearing asking questions from half-closed doors. All sepulchrally still, no excitement. I sat down again. My friend was by this time dressed; still her daughter and I talked on, Margaret pretending to eat a sandwich. Her hand shook so that the bread kept parting company from the chicken. Then I saw she was frightened, and for the first time I was too, but why get dressed, as no one had given the slightest hint of any possible danger? An officer's cap passed the door. I asked: 'Is there an accident or danger of any kind? 'None, so far as I know', was his courteous answer, spoken quietly and most kindly. This same officer then entered a cabin a little distance down the companionway and, by this time distrustful of everything, I listened intently, and distinctly heard, 'We can keep the water out for a while.' Then, and not until then, did I realize the horror of an accident at sea. Now it was too late to dress; no time for a waist, but a coat and skirt were soon on; slippers were quicker than shoes; the stewardess put on our life-preservers, and we were just ready when Mr Roebling came to tell us he would take us to our friend's mother, who was waiting above ...

Two lifeboats approach
the Carpathia April 15, 1912

No laughing throng, but on either side [of the staircases] stand quietly, bravely, the stewards, all equipped with the white, ghostly life-preservers. Always the thing one tries not to see even crossing a ferry. Now only pale faces, each form strapped about with those white bars. So gruesome a scene. We passed on. The awful good-byes. The quiet look of hope in the brave men's eyes as the wives were put into the lifeboats. Nothing escaped one at this fearful moment. We left from the sun deck, seventy-five feet above the water. Mr Case and Mr Roebling, brave American men, saw us to the lifeboat, made no effort to save themselves, but stepped back on deck. Later they went to an honoured grave.

Our lifeboat, with thirty-six in it, began lowering to the sea. This was done amid the greatest confusion. Rough seamen all giving different orders. No officer aboard. As only one side of the ropes worked, the lifeboat at one time was in such a position that it seemed we must capsize in mid-air. At last the ropes worked together, and we drew nearer and nearer the black, oily water. The first touch of our lifeboat on that black sea came to me as a last good-bye to life, and so we put off - a tiny boat on a great sea - rowed away from what had been a safe home for five days.

The first wish on the part of all was to stay near the Titanic. We all felt so much safer near the ship. Surely such a vessel could not sink. I thought the danger must be exaggerated, and we could all be taken aboard again. But surely the outline of that great, good ship was growing less. The bow of the boat was getting black. Light after light was disappearing, and now those rough seamen put to their oars and we were told to hunt under seats, any place, anywhere, for a lantern, a light of any kind. Every place was empty. There was no water - no stimulant of any kind. Not a biscuit - nothing to keep us alive had we drifted long...
Sitting by me in the lifeboat were a mother and daughter. The mother had left a husband on the Titanic, and the daughter a father

Survivors on the deck
of the Carpathia
and husband, and while we were near the other boats those two stricken women would call out a name and ask, 'Are you there?' 'No,'would come back the awful answer, but these brave women never lost courage, forgot their own sorrow, telling me to sit close to them to keep warm... The life-preservers helped to keep us warm, but the night was bitter cold, and it grew colder and colder, and just before dawn, the coldest, darkest hour of all, no help seemed possible...
...The stars slowly disappeared, and in their place came the faint pink glow of another day. Then I heard, 'A light, a ship.' I could not, would not, look while there was a bit of doubt, but kept my eyes away. All night long I had heard, 'A light!' Each time it proved to be one of our other lifeboats, someone lighting a piece of paper, anything they could find to burn, and now I could not believe. Someone found a newspaper; it was lighted and held up. Then I looked and saw a ship. A ship bright with lights; strong and steady she waited, and we were to be saved. A straw hat was offered it would burn longer. That same ship that had come to save us might run us down. But no; she is still. The two, the ship and the dawn, came together, a living painting."

Cryptozoology.com's Top Two Forum Trolls - ZZ and Stu

One of my favorite sites on the internet is of course Cryptozoology.com

However, if you go to the forum's they are a mix of several different kinds
of people. These people often come from educated backgrounds but with
different of diverse worldviews on religion, politics, cryptozoology, etc.

There are over a dozen forums on the site with over a hundred users.

I used to post there often but was banned due to my religious views and
convictions (I am a Christian btw who is liberal not conservative) after
numerous debates on the evolution vs creationism forum.

I would like to present here a list of Cryptozoology.com's top two
forum trolls who frequent the forums and do nothing else but present
one sided arguments, logical fallacies and unsound thinking skills:

1. ZZ

ZZ is against freedom of speech and offers nothing but one sided
arguments, logical fallacy's and unsound thinking - debating skills

ZZ enjoys silencing critics and promoting hatred of others through
the use of psychology, often getting people to side with her even
when proven wrong.

Her solution to someone she dislikes on the forums is simply banning
them rather then defeating them in debate.

2. Stu

Stu lacks comprehension, understanding, empathy and often
starts arguments over nothing in particular.

Not a gentleman nor a troll, Stu is a mix of someone who hates
others as well as himself. He is often very intolerant of those with
different worldviews then his.

People such as ZZ and Stu are very good writers and good at
using psychology as well on Cryptozoology.com's forums to
get others to side with them and in an attempt to force their
worldview on others. This also includes mocking others,
insults, ad homs and a variety of other offenses as well
such as threats of reporting or getting other users banned.

My advice to them is this through a friend, Joe Freas:

"Just remember this whenever you see a post you don't like or don't agree with,
everybody has a right to post what they desire, (whether it be atheists, satanists,
Catholics, neo-nazis, etc.). It's what men and women who served in the United
States Armed Forces have fought for, for decades so that any and everybody
has a voice." -Joe Freas, U.S. Army Chaplain

Well said Joe. I think it's time I take your advice as well.

On a side note...

All the others on these forums are, generally speaking, good people
who show some sort of an interest in Cryptozoology - whether
resident skeptics Rainbow Medicine Man, Karl, Sheriff Fatman,
NM, IrishTheRuler, or Christian believers on the E vs C forum
such as Hootowl, hroth, etc.

I think Cisco (owner of CZ.com) and Gerry Bacon do a somewhat decent
job of moderating the forum though the moderators often lack interest in getting
involved with big debates on it but they tend to get involved only when a freind
is insulted or offended or when they are over a particular post or user.

Again, I think friend and intellectual U.S. Army Chaplain Joe Freas said it best about
the internet in general:

"As far as those idiots on the internet go, remember this one key factor; "These individuals
themselves are angered because they're lost. They are lost in their own lives, their own dreams,
their friends and family life may not be going the way they had hoped. Most of the time,
they blame the world for their own faults, their own losses, etc. Don't let them bring you
down too."

Thanks for reading

Stay tuned for more... -Rob

Stu, a typical CZ.com forum troll or, possibly, the offspring of Stu and ZZ

Update!

Stu has posted the following on Cryptozoology.com about me:

See here: http://www.cryptozoology.com/forum/topic_view_thread.php?tid=1&pid=867080

Note that Stu and other bully's on the site and forums over there often call people Retarded,
Mentally Disabled, Insane, Mentally Challenged or Mentally Ill such as in Stu's current post
on the evolution vs creationism forum:

Evolution deniers are mentally illStu  Tue, Apr 24 2012, 12:51pm

CZ.com's members are such hypocrites. They should practice what they preach.

Also I do have Asperger's Syndrome combined with LD's when I was younger
and did take Special Ed classes for a while in school. Now I'm just another
average joe. -Rob

Update:

Stu vs me on the word retard - Cryptozoology.com

Stu... I think my friend Leisa said it best via her facebook status. Which I've tried to explain
all along but to no avail....

Leisa:
"Okay, I make jokes most of the time. Some of them are offensive to those easily offended (meaning I could make a joke about a board, and someone will be offended because they once had a splinter). And I'm getting a little sick of how I have to think of things before I post them.

I'm the furthest thing away from a racist since brown skin (which I own, by the way), but damn, I'm not completely PC and never will be. I use the word "retarded" because that doesn't mean "special needs" to me. It means someone like Palin, Bachmann, O'Donnell, Joe Walsh (the politician, although ... well, never mind), and people like that. People too stupid to even know what "stupid" means. People who hate and destroy. They are retarded! Is your special needs child/sibling/whatever like them? NO WAY! I know special needs people. They're only full of love and kindness. So get over the use. It's time YOU took yourself away from that label, not me. I already know what it means.

And sometimes, a joke is a joke. Or meant to be a joke. Some people need to point out the details, when all I was trying to do was make someone laugh. I know you feel better about yourself when you do that, but what about someone somewhere else who just needed to smile? And then read your rebuttal and got angry? Oh, yeah, that's an emotional uplift right there.

Just send me a FB email. This way, I can block you. (Yes, I'm that intolerant of egotists.)

This is FACEBOOK. It's not real life. I try to be a good person in both instances, but I also know the realm the internet can give us. So if I can make one person I never met laugh or smile, how cool is THAT? Seriously, take your issues elsewhere. I have enough to deal with in real life, and I just want to make one person smile/laugh a day. Your obsession in making others feel bad does NOT interest me."
