Smallville series finale was great tonight!
Tonight's Smallville series finale was great. Clark, Lois, Lex, Oliver, Zoey, etc. all fit in the story nicely. A few complaints though. Namely that Tess was murdered and Clark only got a few into the Superman suit twice for some brief shots. Other then that, this series is an instant classic joining othertv series such as MASH, The Simpsons, Seinfeld, That 70's Show, and others. -Rob

Osama Bin Laden Is dead announces President Obama
Breaking News!
President Obama announces that terrorist and coward Osama Bin Laden,
Criminal Mastermind of the 9/11 attacks in New York City on September 11th 2001 is dead.
Obama just announced it in a news conference minutes ago.
I am thankful to all of our U.S. troops and soldiers who fought
and were injured and died in the last decade and this decade as
well because some cowardly criminals from Al Qaeda didn't like
America and it's culture and ideals and what is stands for.
I also think that both the Bush and Obama Administrations deserve
thanks especially the Obama Administration ;)
But asQTheProphet said on twitter: :The war is far from over."
Agreed.
God bless America and the world.
Amen.

Al Qaida Head Bin Laden Dead
By JULIE PACE and MATT APUZZO, Associated Press Julie Pace And Matt Apuzzo, Associated Press – 7 mins ago
WASHINGTON – "Osama bin Laden, the glowering mastermind behind the Sept. 11, 2001, terror attacks that killed thousands of Americans, was killed in an operation led by the United States, President Barack Obama said Sunday.
A small team of Americans killed bin Laden in a firefight at a compound in Pakistan, the president said in a dramatic late-night statement at the White House.
A jubilant crowd gathered outside the White House as word spread of bin Laden's death after a global manhunt that lasted nearly a decade.
"Justice has been done," the president said.
Former President George W. Bush, who was in office on the day of the attacks, issued a written statement hailing bin Laden's death as a momentous achievement. "The fight against terror goes on, but tonight America has sent an unmistakable message: No matter how long it takes, justice will be done," he said.
Few details were immediately available of the operation that resulted in bin Laden's death, although the president said none of the Americans involved was harmed.
The development comes just months before the 10th anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks on the World Trade Centers and Pentagon, orchestrated by bin Laden's al-Qaeda organization, that killed more than 3,000 people.
The attacks set off a chain of events that led the United States into wars in Afghanistan, and then Iraq, and America's entire intelligence apparatus was overhauled to counter the threat of more terror attacks at home.

Al-Qaida was also blamed for the 1998 bombings of two U.S. embassies in Africa that killed 231 people and the 2000 attack on the USS Cole that killed 17 American sailors in Yemen, as well as countless other plots, some successful and some foiled."
Let's salute our troops and government leaders for bringing this rat and coward to justice.
God bless all of them.
I also say feed his (Bin Laden's) dead body to the pigs.

"God loves us. He's watching us, he wants us to succeed, and we'll know someday that he has not left one thing undone for the eternal welfare of each of us. If we only knew it, there are heavenly hosts pulling for us -- friends in heaven that we can't remember now, who yearn for our victory." — Ezra Taft Benson
"The American story has never been about things coming easy. It has been about rising to the moment when the moment is hard. About rejecting panicked division for purposeful unity. About seeing a mountaintop from the deepest valley. That is why we remember that some of the most famous words ever spoken by an American came from a president who took office in a time of turmoil: "The only thing we have to fear is fear itself." — Barack Obama
